About Us |
Helen Doane and Dale Michaels Wade met in a trompe l'oeil class in Dennis, Massachusetts 15 years ago. Working together as business partners and friends, Dale and Helen share a common philosophy about business and work. Their goal is to execute each commission with unique style to produce an excellent result for every client.
Continuing to hone their skills and to research old and new techniques and products, they regularly attend trade shows and workshops. They have studied together and independently at many of the Northeast's fine schools, including the Rhode Island School of Design, The Finishing School (NY), The New York Botanical Garden, and the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, Massachusetts.
Helen's and Dale's work has appeared in several showcase houses in Massachusetts and in Northlight's Sophisticated Surfaces.
How We Work
- Each commission begins with a meeting to discuss the project, share our portfolio and view the proposed space.
- The client receives a written proposal specifying the scope of the work, the time frame and the cost.
- After acceptance of the proposal, a 30% down payment is requested.
- Color samples and/or scale renderings are submitted for approval before any on site work begins.
